When you watch a practice, DentistSearch monitors it daily. The moment their accepting status changes — either from the NHS data feed, a practice-confirmed update, or a community report — you receive an instant email. Watcher and Premium subscribers get alerts; free users can watch 1 practice but won't receive alerts.

Go to dentistsearch.co.uk/claim, search for your practice by name or postcode, then click "Claim this practice". We'll send a verification email to your work address. Once verified, you'll have immediate access to your free dashboard to update your status, phone number, and opening hours.

Yes. Both patient subscriptions and practice plans can be cancelled at any time from your dashboard. You'll continue to have access until the end of your current billing period — no pro-rata refunds but no lock-in either.

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the independent regulator of health and social care in England. CQC ratings (Outstanding, Good, Requires Improvement, Inadequate) are official assessments that practices cannot alter on DentistSearch. Essential and Growth plan practices can add a short context note beneath their official rating to provide additional information to patients.
